GioFX visualization plug-inSome very nifty visuals here... colorful and dazzling. The Cubes preset (pictured here) is completely entrancing to watch. The only problem I encountered was an overall bugginess that actually crashed my machine several times. It seemed to stem from exiting GioFX and then choosing a new preset... sometimes GioFX would completely ignore my preset choice (it would run the last preset chosen instead), and other times it completely froze my machine forcing me to restart. I am currently running winME... hopefully it runs smoother on different os'. Otherwise, it is an amazing visual experience that people who own good 3d cards should really check out. -dg

Fast and good for widescreen - While looking through the Visualization plugins I been trying to find one that works with a widescreen ratio and is smooth. This was PERFECT! First it was fast to load and was able to switch between the different options quickly and without a hickup or crash. Also instead of being forced to use fullscreen ratio like 800x600 which looks awful on widescreen (cant stand streched picture) it load perfectly on my 1280x720 screen. Keep up the amazing work! - August 7, 2006 by Blooregard Q_Kazoo
Good Vis, Bad Website - As the plug instructs, I went to the Gio website to get some extra vis configs and whattaya know... the Dropper.Inor virus has been immediately installed on my puter. I guess I'll have to live with the presets it comes with, which are excellant, but holy fucking geezus h christ - malware up the ass. Now I have to reinstall my OS again. Maybe gio's site has been hacked or something. Anybody know? Synopsis: I love the plugin, and would love to have more configs. It's hard to believe someone would make a plugin this good and then try to sell porn with the website they lead you to. That's why I'm only giving it 2 stars. US7A6 - July 13, 2004 by Harvey Wireman
THIS IS BRILL!!! - ive downloaded hundreds of plugins, but none r as good as this!!!!! 5 STARS! If u have a fairly new card, it will work as smoothly as u can imagine - January 12, 2002 by Thomas Riggs
not bad - could somehow change between scenes by itself? all my windows kept migrating across my desktop... - November 5, 2001 by Triffid Hunter
Reminds me of Denzil's Brain - Five stars I give it! It reminds me of what it would be like to be inside Denzil's brain. Lots of flashy colors, a huge maple leaf and a massive prostration of teenage utility, or lack thereof. HAHA! POWERSHAKER - July 13, 2001 by Bucky Adams
Hey are you playing to me - Where is the plug-ins - July 10, 2001 by DIPIL RAJ
Boring and Buggy - It looks cool, but is rather boring after a minute. Plus it doesn't close out of opengl correctly, which on windows 2000 makes it so you can't run any opengl plug-ins afterwords. - July 3, 2001 by Sean VanderMolen
Good Plug-in, needs some work though:( - Hey this is a great plug-in and it deserves its 5 stars but I used it and looked at it but then I closed it and it closed winamp too, hey I was listening to that song, it needs to be upgraded or something. Anyway the original setting looks like fireworks to me, or something, festive for the 4th? And I know it is hard to make these plug-ins, good job and keep up the good work. - July 3, 2001 by nate barton

Super Kewl! - Man, this is really a kickass plugin or what! I have a Riva TNT2 card and this baby runs the plugin like a Llama! Have a descent Video Card installed and you'll really get a blast! - June 30, 2001 by Samwan Bin Rob
Not so bad +:-) - I agree with Jiri Vais, though it is very good! - June 30, 2001 by emile nijssen
VERY GOOD?S - MRS,GIOFX26 OK......GOOD?S - June 29, 2001 by ALBERT MAURICIO VARGAS GARRO
worked 4 me - I am running win2k pro... I have an nvidia vid card, and this plugin and all of its modes ran marvousily at 1600x1200 for me. Very, uhh, trippy in some instances... love it. - June 24, 2001 by John Fuchs
too quick - some of the animation is so quick i can barely tell whats going on... the only reason it got 2 stars was cuz the tunnel vision was coo... but even that coulda used some work... like instead of a quaking effect to go with the music, have it change direction everytime a beat hits...the ideas are good, but i think the overall 'plugin-ness' needs some work - June 22, 2001 by Chris Bosman
Beautiful - This is a beautiful piece of work... - June 20, 2001 by Xuanyi Chen

Not so bad :-)) - Really really nice......but it might be more "solid" - June 16, 2001 by Jiri Vais
very promising - Looks promising so far. The effects run very nice on my Voodoo5, a card that many programs discontinue their support for (Tribes 2, anyone?). Performance wise, this plugin works great. The colors are wild and varied, but I you may want to find some color scheme or pallete and stay consisitant with it. Some of the effects are really interesting and original, like Mechano, but most just have objects bounce around to the waveform. Since everything just vibrates randomly, you may want to vary your response thingies a bit. Have some bounce around to the bass, others light up for trebles, and some flash according to a beat-detecting thing. Keep working on it... this plugin has lots of potential - June 14, 2001 by Seanny Beeeeeee
Same problem - Seem's like a pretty cool plug-in. Although, I had the same problem as the "staff review". I too am running winME and had the same trouble. Hope it work's better for the rest of the llama whippers! -Cheers! - June 14, 2001 by Michael Tremblay
Very Very Good - With my GeForce 2 GTS and Athlon 1000/266 ,this plug-in is excellent. Good work at Gio DalNegro.I hope that the programmer make new more plug-in , because this is very Very GOOD - May 21, 2001 by Luca Bertoli
Not bad, needs work. - runs a little slower than it could. Pretty though. and you shouldn't need to use the configuration to change the visualization type in the plugin. if there was any other way to do it, the 3 minutes this plugin earned of my time didn't show it. - May 11, 2001 by Grant Rietze
Oooh, the colors :) - Looks pretty cool. I've got an Athlon 900 and a GeForce 2 MX and it goes so fast it almost makes me sick to look at it - in a good way :) LOTS of beat response. Nice code - I could only get it to slow down in 1280x1024x32. - April 26, 2001 by Richard Johnson
NICE - I enjoyed this plugin greatly.....I LIKE it a lot, keep up the work on this!! :-D - April 26, 2001 by Jeremy Rowe
