why diss this? - You people dissing this really don't know what you're missing! This plugin can take your parties to the max! With a little bit of electronics knowledge you can have your parties computer controlled! I'm currently in the process of building this system, and have already built discolitez's deluxe32 circuit which works brilliantly first time! I get fantastic patterns out of my little box of lights! stupid people have stupid reviews!! - for those of you who give this plugin a bad rating...fisrt check out the website (www.discolitez.com) and read how it works first, this plugin works kinda like nullsoft's AVS, except you configure each individual light, then to use it in real life you have to first build the device to control the lights (also on www.discolitez.com) and then configure the LPT port to connect it. you can run up to 32 lights total as well. I also have a www site up for making the rigs to control lights, i also have the most current software from David Husselmann. so if his site doesn't work for some reason check out my site (http://home.earthlink.net/~wulcl/brad/discolitez/) if nothing else fails and you still have a question you can contact me at [email protected] any you guys at Nullsoft, you NEED TO UPDATE THIS BAD!!! 2 versions have passed since this plugin was posted.... You people that are dissing this plugin are not very "bright" - Yes you are missing something. This plugin allows you to hook up actual REAL PHYSICAL light Rigs to your computer. I have 8x100watt lights all different colors. You can also hook up anything from christmas lights to fog machines. If you need schematics to build your light rigs, go to www.discolitez.com. Unfortunately, the author has seemed to have abandoned the plugin in the last couple months. I can't find anywhere to download the new version 2.10. Luckily I found it on a backup disk, so if anyone else wants it let me know, maybe I can put a new link or something... - June 1, 2001 by Jon Fisher
