Neptune, it is the 8th planet from the sun, a roman god of the sea, a city in New Jersey and now a kickin Winamp 3 skin! UPDATED - 10-1-2002! Final bug fixes. Previous button in Winshade mode now works correctly and other small fixes.UPDATED - 9-18-2002!!Added color themes! No more black spots for non XP/2000 users. Tidied up Winshade song ticker. Fixed many bugs. Give it another try!Graphics & coding by RPETERCLARK. All components have been skinned, has two drawers for EQ and toggle buttons and a collapsable winshade mode.

quite nice - main pros is its tasty simplicity. but i've found also one very annoying bug.. when i start winamp with this skin (windowshade and normal view) it has status of playing file (pause button instead of play) but nothing is actually being played :( only way to start a file then is pressing 'x' or playing via playlist. annoying - October 15, 2004 by Kuba Bogaczewicz

potential... - Well.. could've been good. The gold buttons don't change with the different colour themes, making this skin have one, plain look. Easy to use, but it doesn't quite keep up with the others.. (but Pete's whole 'planet series' is absolutely amazing! I hope he keeps making them until he uses all the planets... Won me over 2 - To the girl who said she keeps coming back to this, I couldn't agree more. This has everything I want on a WinShade mode (volume/seek control, clean font, media library, playlist) and even retracts to take up even less space! "wonder skin" :-) - This skin is FANTASTIC. I have tried other but none come close. The windowshade mode is brilliant. It fits perfectly, looks good, clear to read, easy to use and the play buttons can be removed so it takes up even less space!!!! WOW. Then the normal mode just looks cool and the glass effect rocks. good, but.... - the playlist editor crashes with this skin....the other skins i've downloaded recently do not have this problem....so obviously, it's the skinners problem and not winamp3 program itself....so therefore, i will love using winamp now that i know it's the certain skins.....but i do give you 4 stars for the design and effort...i don't know why some skins crash the playlist, but it obviously must be part of the skinning process missing something.... - October 30, 2002 by Michael Schaefer

Clean, easy to use - Seems W3 is encouraging people to outdo each other on skins-I've seen some pretty ones but can't find half the buttons. Beauty..... - This is a beautiful skin! It's VERY CLEAN looking, and the animations are smooth. The little drop shadow is an added bonus. Unlike some other skins, all the functions are easily accessed, and WELL LABELED. Awesome. Well done. - Definitely a feature skin I'd think. It looked a bit ... earth toned and faded from the screenshot but once downloaded I was very pleased and have been using it since. Full mode is clean, pretty to look at, well animated and in general just nice. The windowshade mode is awesome, and the little pull-out menu is genius. Although its definitely cinched 5 stars from me a few things I could ask for. I can live without themes (no really guys, you can) although they are very spiffy and can add flavor. The windowshade is just a tiny trifle too big - a microshade that fits just above the standard menu line would be nice. These are very minor complaints though. Sleek in a liquid sort of way. Extremely smooth - This is a great skin. I thought the screenshot looked great and thought I'd give it a try. I am so glad I did. This skin looks amazing and has so many great little hidden features. I am using XP so I haven't experienced any problems with "black splochs". This is a great skin but I'd have to say that the winshade mode is what really won me over for the skin. It is PERFECT. I like to have a winshade mode that I can leave at the top of the screen, out of the way. Too many people are making winshade modes for their WinAmp 3 skins that are almost just as big as the regular mode itself. 3.5 - when i saw the pic i was like "wow, i've met the skin of my dreams!" But little did i know i was in for a dissapointment. the skin looks good, stable and cool in the pic. unfortunately it's not like that in real life.
