Good.Good skin, but the look of it is a little scruffy, clever work though.

Fine, but ugly - Un poquitin feo, pero funcional, mata que la ML quede fea en el contexto... - May 14, 2008 by eloy esp
Unattractive! - I'm not quite sure why this skin has such a high rating. It's one of those that should have never been submitted!I downloaded it assuming that the skin itself would look better than it's screen shot, but I was wrong. While the author may have put some time into the orginization of options, it's not enough to make this skin usable for my taste.A good example why Quanity of Quality rarely works. - January 29, 2008 by Derrick Andrew
Oh my God... - ... this Skin IS the Shit. So many usefull Options and enough Options and Colorthemes for everyone. Love This. - January 13, 2008 by mark harris

DaBest skin - Whish I could change colours though. I like the contrats, just whish I could avoid all the dark colours... - November 19, 2006 by Vincent Jonsson
Wonderful! - Thank you very much! I really appreciate it! - July 21, 2006 by Antonio Borrelli
Great winshade mode - I like the way the hover mode works. That way I have even more free space on the screen when I'm doing other tasks. Okay, when I'm playing games. Lol. I have to give it five stars. I find nothing wrong with the main mode or any other components. - July 11, 2006 by Jack Sanders
Excellent Skin - 5 stars +++ for function and design. Try my favorite Moon_ Groove mix....''Invisible'' [monochrome green] color theme over a black screen. You will fly :) Pascal.... If you are planning to add a new color theme to Moon_Groove, please make it a WHITE version of the ''Invisible''. Thank's a lot alex - June 27, 2006 by Alex deBorja
Simple the Best! - Well just give it a shot, and you would find out why, it just simple, but strong in features... - June 15, 2006 by stuart Gordillo
Hands Down The BEST - Despite the fact that I came to see if the "Always On Top" issue may be fixed - someone else mentioned it below - I felt the need to add my voice to those screaming the praises of this skin. I've tried dozens. All the compact skins. All the devices. I want something unobtrusive, LEGIBLE, simple in windowshade mode. No other skins deliver the incredibly tight interface of Moon Groove with the best balance of compactness, flexibility, simplicity, and power. - February 13, 2006 by Ash Spectre
What I've been looking for! - I've been sifting through the skins and had a few disastorus atempts at creating my own. High contrast and colapses into the title bar. simply mousing over shows all the needed info. buttons are large enough to see at 1200x1600 LOVE IT!!!! - December 13, 2005 by gNOME intheRedHat
So good, I registered just to rate it! - This is the first skin I have ever rated - yes its that good. I wasted my time registering just so I could rate it - yes its that good. I deleted all my other skins - yes its that good. Just get it - its that good. A rare skin - functional, compact and aesthetically higly pleasing. Just get it - yes its that good. - October 30, 2005 by bonkers schmoove
big mistake!! - I think this is a big mistake that Moon Grove's taken part in skins.. they put Moon Groove in plugins or a differet unique category..Cause here it has less space then it worth. (ps:This "skin" is for Limbonic Art,or am I wrong?) - October 4, 2005 by Leviathen Black
Simply the best - This skin needs more love. Period. Amazed by hundreds of shitty or mediocre skins that have high ratings and download counters, I decided to register and write about the skin i have used for almost a year now. I've never seen a skin that would be more comfortable to use and more efficient than this one. Sure, it doesn't really have any of the eye candy, but that's not what I'm looking for in skins. What's the point in all those gaudy designs, when you have to spend like 2 minutes searching for the damned play button alone? Well, no problem here. Everything is discernible and reachable in 1-2 clicks. Main mode is ok, even though the gfx are kind of dirty/fuzzy around the buttons, especially the "Play" one. The best part is shade mode however, with it's expandability and scalability. Sits in titlebar perfectly. plenty of color themes to choose from and notifications are nice sometimes too. The only drawback I can think of is that both modes don't have "Open" button. That's kind of weird, seeing as everything else is in and there's still plenty of free space. And I miss it a lot. - September 3, 2005 by Herbalist Life
oh my smallness - Wow! First off: the full-size player su**s! Use this one only if you're looking for a small and tiny yet fully-functionable and smart audio-solution! It has it all: in windowshade it's just a small easy-to-tuck-away-bar which gives you the song's title and playtime. When you hover over it with the mouse it expands so it offers the basic operations and even the playlist editor/equalizer expands for easy song-selecting. And: you can turn notifications on, so that when a new song starts you have the important info in large on the screen. I've never seen such a minimalistic skin with all these neat stuff in it! No hassle at all! Plus: cool color themes! only minuses: no Alarm feature, notification not customizable (time, slide) - August 13, 2005 by Andreas Jahn
moon groove - it`s so cool - May 24, 2005 by schulz schulzi
Very cool - Makes use of this "new" version of WinAmp. Makes use ot the innovative functions enabling a skin to present itself in different way, a more contextual manner. Doesn't get in the way, cluttering the screen - when not in use that is. Yet able to grow in size thus needed. In thing though: I would like to be able to change colours. At the moment most of it remains black... Not muck of a complaint now - is it? - May 23, 2005 by Vincent Jonsson
Moon Groove - Not bad. It's nice and simple. - April 23, 2005 by long boy
great skin! - I love the skin! I've used it constantly since downloading it. Very user friendly. Doesn't get in the way of my work in any way. It's great! I only have one suggestion - could you get the "always on top" feature to work a little better? when it is in shade mode (which is the only way I use it) it disappears behind my other windows. But even with this, I still love it! Great job! - March 24, 2005 by Melodie Booton
Really intelligent - I really have to say I was impressed with the fuctionality of this skin. So simple, not very good looking, but absolutely practical and functional. Good job, really. - March 19, 2005 by David Abenza
yoooooo - For such a simple looking skin it kicks ass. This is the best skin I have ever seen! - March 8, 2005 by j g
moon groove - This is perhaps the best skin I found here... I was looking for a nice looking skin that: -has colors good for reading and not to bright - doesn't use more space then necessary (a lot of nice looking skins use lots of space for the edges of the Library and Playlist!) - is VERY practical in use. - looks very user-friendly and IS user-friendly And this one matches them all, the hover-expand is great! and when library and playlist are open, stil have lots of space left. It is very good readable!! And when I play a song, the title is large displayed.. to the author: There are A LOT of skins here on winamp.com that have 5-star rating because they are graphically very sophisticated. But to use them as a skin of a player is not practical AT ALL So I think the star-rating is for 90% about the graphics-design, NOT about usability! Your skin looks great and has great usability. Just because it is not graphically sophisticated like "SyroGenesis" (http://www.winamp.com/skins/details.php?id=129329) for example (thank god!) you don't get high starrating and lots of downloads. btw no bad word about Syrogenesis, but it is not user-friendly at all... not very practical... - March 1, 2005 by rrete htrjuyr
It's about time - I'v ebeen using winamp for a long time now and this is without a doubt the best skin to ever be published! Keep it up - February 27, 2005 by big daddy
expands on hover. - I must congratulate the author of this skin. It is first of all a very clean design when put in to shade mode and second of all that really does the work justice happends to be the expands on hover funtion. I hope to see more of this in future skins, way 2 go Author Pascal. - December 28, 2004 by Micael Svensson
Nice - Nicest skin ever.. lots of options.. works fine... just loved it! - December 23, 2004 by Eduardo Agostinho
After months of use, my impressions - Hi, thank you for this skin. When in shader mode and set to auto-collapse, this is the best skin in the world. At first I complained about the small size of the controls in shader mode, but since then I mapped their functions to keys on my keyboard and now I'm less concerned about them. Here are some suggestions that would make this skin even better: 1. Transparency - When Winamp auto-collapses into a little bar that hovers at the top of my monitor, I'd like it to blend in as much as possible with whatever is behind it. As it is, there are only two "light" color schemes, and both of them rather ugly (but I have to use one of them). Aesthetically, you might look to i-skin for queues (though functionally, which is far more important, this skin is much better). 2. I've started using Winamp to play back video and I think the window border around the video picture is unnecessarily fat and ugly. The whole point of this skin (for me) is keeping it out of my way. I think a part of the problem is that this skin tries to do too much at once. I think you should fork it into two skins, one that just does the shade mode and sticks to the minimalism which I love, and the other that has various silly ornaments and things. - December 18, 2004 by Usability Fan
Excelent - Simple et efficace! Rien de plus. L'essentiel du pratique. - December 13, 2004 by Sebastien MIS
Question re Drag-and-Drop - Maybe I'm mistaken, but this skin seems to prevent tracks from being played (or queued) when dragged onto the main Winamp window. I can switch to another skin and drag-and-drop works, but when I switch back to Moon Groove, it's gone. I can drag files into the playlist window, but not onto the main window. A small thing, and it sure doesn't stop this from being my favorite skin -- but I hope it can get fixed! Meanwhile, I'd like about a half-star change back on my previous perfect review... - November 29, 2004 by Frank Lenk
Thanks for the Fix!! - Great 1.1 update, makes an already near-perfect skin absolutely unbeatable. Despite the funky name, this is the most usable Winamp skin ever, extending the UI in many very useful ways. I may never download another skin again (unless you still have a 1.2 up your sleeve). - November 23, 2004 by Frank Lenk
Great skin !! - Great skin because of all the extras.. - November 20, 2004 by Andreas Bierhorn
Almost right! - This skin has a "Shade Mode" which is almost right! Oh, so close! I see great potential in this skin. What it desparately needs is: 1. Larger control buttons! The play button is what, five pixels wide? Unacceptable! 2. A better volume control. Really, the volume slider should be longer. Even worse, my mouse wheel does not seem to want to change the volume in shade mode with the playlist down. Only when the skin re-minimizes itself does the wheel change the volume. The fix I recommend is to let the wheel change the volume when your pointer is over the volume bar. I really do like the clean look. I think the author should reconceive the middle "cell" of the Shade Mode. The "persistant" title bar is great, and the playlist is perfect, but the section in the middle with all the controls needs more vertical space, bigger buttons, and a more accurate way of changing the volume. I know the authors are trying to keep it minimalistic, and I love it that they remove useless ornaments, but I hope they see it this way: The section that I want them to enlarge for the sake of useability auto-hides anyway. Making the buttons bigger will not get in the way of anything. - November 12, 2004 by Usability Fan
Got it all - I've downloaded dozens of skins and this is the one that does everything I want it to. The AVS on the front panel is especially cool. The only nit to pick is that the buttons are hard to read on some of the color themes. - November 8, 2004 by Mongo61 Karras
Bad Ass Skin - I love this Skin, I am never gonna change it again. - November 1, 2004 by Neon Juggalo
Almost Perfect - I've been using Compact for at least a year. I rate that skin a 5. But your skin is so much better! Unfortunately, I gave you 4 stars because the buttons are a little too dull looking compared to the rest of the skin (Still, You deserve 4.5 stars). I LOVE THE SCREEN IN THE MAIN WINDOW. Beavis, Ryu, and Link rule! I hope you make your skin perfect. Jon - October 27, 2004 by Jonathon Pearle
Wowwww Beautiful - Thanks Pascal Getreuer ;) Good Skin. - October 26, 2004 by Hok Cay
wOw - wow. thats all. I think its the greatest skin in winamp since non-step. I am VERY surprised, however, that the playback buttons are as pixelized as they are. EVERYTHING else looks wonderful. It just seems odd to me, but detracts little from the overall goodness of te skin. I must also say that the winamp staff rated this skin very badly. Download it and see it for yourself. - October 25, 2004 by MrSpandex Henk
Well cool skin - Everyone download this skin its just simply the best, The toe jam & earl visulisation is really cool idea and the rest, Good job Pascal Getreuer - October 21, 2004 by rich p

This is the best skin I have ever used - This skin has everything I have ever looked for in a skin. In fact, I registered solely to give this skin a great review. I can't think of anything I have ever wanted from a skin that this doesn't have. I mean, just when you think it can't get better, you see a vis of Beavis and Butt-Head head banging. Its perfect. - October 14, 2004 by ChucklesdklowN _
A One-Off Masterpiece... - This is an excellent skin, and I applaud the designer. The skin's design is unusual, and when I initially looked on it in the screenshot, I was dubious. Upon downloading it, though, soon my mood changed to _damned_ impressed. The sheer attention to detail and knowledge of layout principles is commendable. Take the EQ, for example: Not only is it intelligently and flowingly skinned, but its utility is clear-cut, its sliders and shading are precise and sized in a comfortable and, to me, confidence-enhancing manner, I can't quite phrase it correctly, but the EQ isn't relegated to its window. Rather the UI's functionality and access are enhanced with a Main Window Display mode which shows the current EQ settings plotted as a spatial curve, annotated with the full range of their respective values, and to boot, fully adjustable *from* this interface. It doesn't end there, either. Right-click on this display, and you get the unprecedented options of shifting, sharpening, and smoothing the curve made by your EQ settings! This same attention is bestowed to each function of the Player in a similar manner, and the skin emerges rich, well-designed, and delightful-to-use. The eleven Main Window Skin Visualizations are an interesting addition, they run the gamut from All Your Base to Beavis and Butthead. A couple of them I confess I don't understand at all, but it's nice to have choices, anyway, and the visualizations are all perfectly in tune with the handful of well-chosen Colour Themes. There is no clutter, and though the buttons when maximized seem a tad too large, it is their bulk that contributes to the cleanness of the skin. And you know how I always bitch if the Playlist Editor doesn't get a Stickmode? Well, the PE here doesn't Stickmode, BUT, when you mouse over the Stickmoded Main window, you get a little pulldown tab that, when clicked twice, produces a perfect little windowblind Playlist Editor, which follows the horizontal scaling of the Stickmode, and which rolls back up and away with a further click. I really like this skin, and while it's hard to find fault in it, unfortunately there are a couple of niggling matters that keep this skin a half-step from true greatness, at least in my warped inventory. Though the author provided a unique method by which you can configure the typeface, scrolling, and even size with which to display information (in the case of the Stickmode, all the information), I just don't think the typefaces fit the skin. The closest is the default, Agency, but somehow the typeface choices just don't do the rest of the skin justice, somehow. The only other quarrel I could bring up is itself reaching, and that's the strange texture to the coloured parts of the maximized Main window's bottom controls. They look almost rough, like the graphics were corrupt or harshly scaled somehow. I scaled it up to 200%, and that's just how they're made, I know it's a minor, minor bitch, but it's the only visual qualm I have with the entire skin. Overall, this is one of the best skins I've ever tried, and I have the feeling it'll be floating there over my window title bar for some time. Thank you, skinner, excellent submission. - October 13, 2004 by Ike Eisenhower
one star off - because the playback buttons are a bit ugly. They don't look very clear. However, you got VERY good ideas. AVS in main window. Notifier. Preferences in main window. eq presets built right on the window. Your one star off has been given back to you. - October 10, 2004 by the bonehead
