Beautiful, but bugfix needed - For some reason, the skin shows up with the play button defaulted to "pause" instead of "play" whenever winamp is opened by itself. The button won't work because it's expecting to resume a song and there's nothing to resume -- hence no play button. Quick workarounds: associate winamp to your favorite sound files, then double-click one of the files to play the song/sound in winamp -OR- open up winamp's playlist and double-click a song to play it in winamp. Either way, click the "pause" button and the play button will show up. I'm guessing the play and pause function just got mixed up, so hopefully it's a quick fix. I hope the author or somebody can read this and fix the skin (assuming the bug is in the skin!). An otherwise beautiful skin. - May 20, 2006 by Gary Cheung

very very good - i've been using alot of skins and this one is the one i use the longest.. i've been using this skin for over a year now and still it hasnt bored me.. I even tried using the Neptune by the same author but this skin is still better.. Yes! Yes! YES! - This is what skins should be like. It is really cool looking, it is big enough to get all the buttons, it isn't confusing, the little animations are really cool, it doesn't take a lot of processor to run, it has a vireaty of colors to chose form. The only thing i don't like is that it's all curvy and the windows don't fit together, but when the sacerfice is made for a better looking skin, its ok with me. Almost perfect... - The windowshade mode is a helluva lot more useable than MMD3's, and there are a lot of colour themes. The only problem that I had with this skin was that the buttons aren't very clearly defined... I accidently close Winamp3 when I went to go to windowshade mode. Just to address a couple issues, I know there is no stop button, it was a design decision and you can always use the pause button instead. Don't forget to right-click and select "Configure" to help customize the skin, a lot of the themes look much better when you lower the opacity of the glass. Finally, in case anyone is wondering, yes, I'm making a skin for each planet in the solar system. Next in line is Jupiter and it is already well underway with all the features of Mercury and some crazy new features. Great work - I do not think it beats MMD3 in usability and design. MMD3 is just the little bit over it. However, this is an absolutely awesome skin. And there is one thing where this skin is superior to MMD3: The different display modes. It is 4:2, where I admit the Mini mode isnt of much use, at least not for me. However, the Stick mode is GREAT. ALL important windows (ie. playlist editor!) can also be displayed as stick. I like it - I like your skin has lot of themes but some of them hurt my eyes, you should make a brightness control for the sphere like the zigote skin, i think is a pretty good thing but no1 use it in their skins. Opacity/Scale button? - It seems as though everyone forgets those two buttons. I, for one, use them all the time. I love the thought of having 50 color themes but some of them are just butt ugly. Great work on the classic, stick, normal, mini modes. They are great ... oh and the idea of the play, next, prev. buttons on most of the windows is great!
