Smoooooooth

A great modern skin utilizing the idea of freeform. Has a bit of a learning curve, but still fun.

Comments

small but nice - The color themes help me to see it better and it is still nice looking when scaled 250% which is my norm for a small skin, as I'm legally blind.GREAT Job - December 31, 2007 by Emily Green

wOoOw!! - i really really like it sooooooooooooo much!!!! *0* a GREAT work!!!! - December 22, 2006 by Kirei Chan

Very Smoooth, Nice & Very Very Stylish!!! - Another (Almost) Perfetct Skin! Very smooth, Nice & Very Stylish! Saves lot of space in the Desktop. (even in normal mode) Only has two minor issues. - EQ. Buttons are a little hard to change, and also seem wrong placed*, to change them with the mouse. But no doubt it's a Wonderfull Work! Great Skin!!! - December 7, 2006 by Dj Digital

good one - i like that this modern skin actually has smooth edges instead of rough pixelated ones, except for all the windows besides the main one, too bad, that would have made this my fave - December 2, 2006 by Thomas Lynn

Usable! - Small, neat and nice. My skin of default. The only thing i miss is some heavier color theme: apart from the standard one, i don't like the ones provided with the skin. The best overall winamp skin, nevertheless. - June 30, 2006 by Francesco Sirotti

it`s a very nice toy i`d say;) - It`s compact and you can change the look(i mean colours) whenewer you want. It`s also stylish. - March 7, 2006 by Juta Ivbule

beautiful - it is complete. I don't think I will ever use another skin again. everything works and is easily accessable. it doesn't even cut off the bottom half of the word "playlist" at the top of the play list like my previous favourite _mercury (and some others) for some reason did... - February 27, 2006 by Dominguez Scaramanga

Nice and complete - I think it's very elegant, and complete. - June 18, 2005 by Tess Martinez

Best Compact Skin - I love the compact mode. The other modes look nice aswell. - May 26, 2005 by K B

I want to... Touch it. O_O - Why can this not be a real?! :: dies in grief :: Anywho... 10,000,000,000,000/10. That's good, mind you. Darn, now I want to EAT it. What's wrong with me today? Nice colours, by the way. =3 - March 21, 2005 by Katana Akaissei

Ownage - This skin is complete ownage. For those that dont have it, your missing alot. For such a small skin, its got a hell of a lot of features. I now refuse to use any other skins... Basicly cause that fact that this one OWNS the others =)! Kick ass skin man, keep it up - March 4, 2005 by Royce Hawkins

Awesome - I simply refuse to use any other skin. This is the best skin I have see for so long. It really is awesome :) - February 7, 2005 by phalacee geek

Crome plated groove. - yum. I usually dont like skins that look like they are formed to fin in your hand. (because they cant) but this one I like A LOT. Like Mary Poppins, it's practically perfect in every way, except I find the grafics settings in the center dome dont always flow with the rest of the design. Can you have too many colour schemes? Who cares when most of them are appealing - Crome plated groove - this thing has style. - December 10, 2004 by Daerren Clarke

Brilliant But... - Needs bar docking, and either bigger play control buttons in stickmode or have them in the bar. besides that best skin out! - July 31, 2004 by Ben lupton

cpu usage - amazing skin i love it more and more evrytime i use it... ...but it really slows my pc down because of the 85%+ cpu usage especially on normal mode. please please please just sort this tiny glitch and it will be the best skin ever made! cheers - July 14, 2004 by No Probs

not next generation - when a skin (with enabled alpha blending) consumes about 15% processing time of a 3GHz P4 its time to question the point of those "next generation" skins blut, kot, blumen und sonnenschein - July 14, 2004 by Junk Food

Good, but could be even better - The design is perfect, the functions are good, but I find it far too small; the title are OK, but the buttons are too small, especially in Stick mode (3 pixels high or so) Also having to choose between buttons and display isn't cool. - July 14, 2004 by Ed Skin

Very nice - Minimalistic, yet functional. I like. - July 13, 2004 by James Brown

Great. - This looks like the probe v5, but is considerably better. The three modes works well together, and the stick is one of the smallest I've seen, yet very functional, it can be placed anywhere.. the three modes in the main player is very good. Five stars. - July 11, 2004 by John Smith

wow! - What a fantastic little skin. It takes up so little space and has the best stick mode i have seen out of all of the site. I may just have to delete all of my other skins as they are not up to scratch. Bye bye MMD3! Thankyou so much - July 8, 2004 by No Probs

Awesome - Love it so far -- my only complaint is the CPU usage. Other than that, its my new favorite skin. - July 6, 2004 by Some One

GOOD THINGS COME IN small packages - LOVE IT :) For someone who uses many skins and reverts to Winamp Modern, I can only say that this is one small skin for Winamp, but one GIANT LEAP for skins. I have a passion for small things but this is the climax of my passion. Now Winamp is "Always O Top Ctrl+A". 5 flashing stars. Keep it up guys and thanks. - July 6, 2004 by Rhythm Obsession

MMD3 - just below... - just below the classic legend MMD3 skin... good to see someone else try and make a quality skin... keep up the good work... - July 5, 2004 by Joe Bloggs

Nice Skin - I like this skin very much, but i miss an minimize buttion in stick mode :/ - July 1, 2004 by Marv T

Very nice - I especially like stick mode. It's so nice! Thank you! - June 30, 2004 by Michael Stemle

Superb!! - This is one of the better skins that I have seen. It has so many looks to it and you can change the color to one that suits your mood! It's very functional and very well though out. Good job! - June 30, 2004 by Grant Novey

Iconic! - A very well designed skin, with so much packed into a tiny area! Wish I could get a real MP3 player that looked this cool! I also experienced the high memory usage in stick mode. - June 26, 2004 by Gareth Green

Ooooh - I love this. Having finally shifted out of my ways and openned my desktop to this freeform skins malarky, Impulse is one of the best, most original and lush I've ever seen. I love "Stick Mode" for sheer smallness. The way everything slides around so smoothly is wonderful. Only problem I had was that irritating issue with massive CPU usuage (which I seem to get with some skins and not with others). I've never been able to establish if this is a skin issue or a WinAMP install issue, but it sadly stopped me using this one. If it is a skin issue, then best of luck fixing it. It's a wonderful piece of work. - June 24, 2004 by Ben Ward

Great - How about a stick form playlist to match? - June 23, 2004 by Greg van_Berkel

Gr8 Job - this is a gr8 skin.. well done.. theres only one small bug.. when on stick mode and the playlist is attached to the main window, when u try 2 move the main window, the playlist starts moving in the bottom-right direction until u unclick the mouse from the main window.. except that the sckin is great.. 5 starts from me - June 23, 2004 by George Tymvios

yay - and the next skin from the guios :) great one! :) the only reason you don'T get 5 stars are, that there aren'T enough features for my taste ;) - June 22, 2004 by i rontz

superb - I downloaded it from the guiolympics site some time ago. Maybe if you had a golden theme as default you would have got the gold ;) - June 22, 2004 by Emil Butiri
