A Top Notch Skin - This is the only skin I use, and have been using since it was released. 5+ stars. My only complaint is that the spectrum analyzer visualization does not have options to change to thin lines or removing the "falloff peaks." Considering I have to dig that deep to find something to complain about says alot. Final note: I have found that the "DVD" color theme is the easiest to read and least wacky. strange behavior - The bar mode has a strange behavior; the main window suddenly pushes away the playlist window, using all the screen widht ( That's a lot in my 21 inches monitor). The same does with no user intervention the playlist window. And where in hell is the equalizer button in the barmode? WOW - OMG This is so awesome! I have downloaded and tried EVERY skin I ever found attractive and I have been forced to go back to the Winamp Modern skin every time. Either the new skin is to big or to small, to splashy or to dull, whatever the case I have never gotten a good skin. This skin D-Reliction changes all that!! It is PERFECT!! There are soooo many colors, just like Winamp Modern, it has three modes, not just two,(I love and use all three) the layout takes acouple of minutes of getting used to since all the buttons look the same but their all in the same place as other skins mostly. There are also alot of different visualisers although I always stick with the good, old Spectrum Analyzer. All in all, this skin is infinatly better than any other skin I have ever downloaded! I am soo happy I found it and am thoroughly satisfied with it. This is deffinatly my main and Favotrite skin including the old Winamp Modern. To the people who made this skin, I thank you and salute you for this wonderful job, and I pleas ask for you to continue making awesome skins like this one. IT REALLY WHIPS THE LAMA'S ASS! - Dude... I don't even know where to begin. All I can say is that this guy must be a professional art student. I used to know some guys like that, and man...this is the kind of stuff they liked to do -sleek graphics, cool interface...almost like you can touch it.... One of the most important things though, is that Linus figured out a way to pack alot of "punch" into a very limited amount of space, without making it confusing, cluttered, and chaotic. He also didn't make it the size of texas, either. It's balanced, carefully planned, and well thought-out. The ultimate skin (I've been a user since 1.8, I believe, so I've seen alot)! Very well done. Believe the hype - Yes it really is the best. Most importantly (for me) it includees a dockable, auto-hiding winshade toolbar - and lots of colour choices. The custom visuals are ace, especially the one with the boobies - very funny. This skin will go down in history, this is the skin we will compare all other 'modern' skins by. Good work!! - Along comes another quality skin. Loved the mini mode, small campact, yet clear and easy to use. Love the visualizations, nice variety you wont find on other skins. Nice selection of colors, though I found some a bit much with the glare at top of main window. Tool tips help a lot, maybe put a small icon on the control buttons. All you'll ever need-if you have tons of resources - I love this skin. It has everything - including colors to match every wallpaper or screen color. The options are amazing and plentiful. O.M.G.!!!!! - Dude. Wow. Seriously. I have been using Winamp since WAY back in v1.0, and I have been through a MASSIVE number of skins. I have about 1,500 skins in my collection, and go through them every so often, just to see if my taste has changed. Before, I would always go back to MASSamp (in older WA versions) or to MMD3 (in WA5). Now? Man, this thing looks SO smooth, has tons of color themes and animations built in, that I CAN'T give it any less than 5 stars! Your animations are very smooth, and I noticed that when I scaled the windows up to 200% (my usual increase for visibility on the third monitor), the graphics maintained their sharp appearance, with none of that jagged-edge effect or blurriness that seems to plague some of the other promising skins. What you've done here, I thought was only possible by a small handful of skin artists: given Winamp a completely new, refreshing, and interesting appearance. Skins that make me want to play with the program more, and re-vitalize my love for the program are very hard to find, and seem to be few and far between. Congratulations friend, this is one of them. In fact, I would call this the best I have seen so far. There's one other out there that held that title (and was loaded without fail when I started WA for the last couple years), but D-Reliction has taken its place. It's extremely easy on the eyes, easy to use, and your help system (accessed through the side drawer) was helpful and ingenious. It showed me options I hadn't even considered looking for in WA5. The notifier popup is simply a beautiful touch, and I find it extremely handy, since I use multiple monitors during programming sessions, and though I have the player up on one of the screens, find it a mild distraction to look over to see exactly what tune that is currently playing, (I frequently listen to streams). Now even that minor annoyance is gone, thanks to your skin. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for such a wonderful work of art, and brilliant skin design the likes of which may not be seen here for a long time to come. You've raised the bar for aspiring skin artists. Of course, this is all just my opinion, but like I said, when it comes to Winamp and its army of skins and plugins, I've been there, seen that. Got beer? - Well, not exactly, even though I enjoy that too from time to time, this skin is the skin to download. The winner of the GUIO 2004 (Graphic User Interface Olympics) works like silk, thanks to excellent coding, state of the art graphics and a lot of well balanced colour schemes. This skin is all I use! - I have deleted all my other skins. I'm not kidding. Including the one I made (which is crap, anyway). This little baby is pretty, functional and fun. When I want to surf the web or work on a project, the stick mode fits nicely in my toolbar. When I want to waste time, both of the other modes are just nice to look at. The color schemes are all fabulous. Need I mention the vast selection of visualizations? I've been looking for the ULTIMATE Winamp skin, and now I've found it. Only God could make a better one :D - I don't easily bother reviewing skins, but this one is fabulous. There isn't much to say about it, because it's just perfect - everything you could possibly want in a skin is there: Awesome good-looks, functionality, clarity, color, ease-of-use, well-thought design, everything is there. It goes one notch over MMD3, which although remains a perfect skin, now feels a little older. The only flaw I could find is that the mini-mode and the winshade-mode could be a little smaller, but hey, what's lost in miniaturisation is gained in clarity. I usually like them just a little bit smaller, so I'm gonna rate 'D-Reliction' one star lower than I first intended - not 7/5, but 6/5 stars ! :D Really, we're gonna wait a LONG time for a better skin than this. - September 26, 2004 by Sam T

Stunning! - I was looking for two things in a skin: a dockable, auto-hiding winshade toolbar and lots of color choices. So many skins tend all towards dark and "futuristic" colors, or the complete opposite with cute and girly. It's rare that you find a nice mix. D-Reliction provides exactly that. Just from the names alone, with colors such as Dark Skull and Malibu Stacy, you know there's a color theme for every possible mood or taste. The themes are nicely done; no "let's just do a colorwash on the whole thing rather than actually putting effort into it" here. The funcionality is amazing, with such features as a dockable toolbar and alternate fonts, the visualizations are outstanding (maybe even enough for me to keep it in full mode instead of my beloved toolbar!), and the skin itself is nice and clean. Best - Up to now. Winamp 5 is great, and skilled skinners greater even (or odds) : it ain't obvious. D-Reliction is gorgeous, smart, quick (nice script, obviously). This skin is very, very nice. Finally a skin I can read my song titles with! - This skin is good on many levels. 1) The design is sleek, compact, and functional 2) Many creative visualizations to choose from, the girl with the bra that fades with the drum beat is a work of genius. 3) I can actually read my song titles! Many other skins I find either have song text dimmed out or scaled so small you can barely read them on high-res displays or use an exotic font that I can't map to handle asian text properly. This skin handles song title text wonderfully x) did I mention the vis with the boobies? heh :) I wont give it a 5 because personally I think the controls take up too much space, and if you select one of the smaller modes you lose the main visual window and it takes a bit to learn the buttons in the smaller modes (no labels)... but overall a very nice skin. - June 23, 2004 by Brian Mason

Still great! MMD3 finally has some competition! - I downloaded this skin during the GUI Olympics and was amazed at the quality of coding and sheer usefulness that it offered and still use this as my preferred skin. The visualizations are certainly different (although a spectrum analyzer and oscilliscope are present, too), but they are excellent examples of new and creative touches in this skin. There is an abundance of color themes, so it will fit in on anybody's desktop. The 3 modes offered are each excellent for their intended purposes (I personally prefer the shade mode, in toolbar mode). Whether you are Winamp n00b or a seasoned veteran, D-Reliction is a must-download for your skin collection. It offers excellent ease of use while maintaining many advanced features and may just be the best skin to grace Winamp since the treasured MMD3. - June 17, 2004 by toejam 07
