Winamp3 build 488 skin. Again updated! Thanks to all Winamp3 users for comments, criticizms, recommendations and suggestions. 4 in 1. Player, eq, playlist, AVS. I tried to make this with as less as possible bitmap for minimum size (no bitmaps, no animated layers, no extra scripts) simple but useful like Minima. I tried to force Winamp3 skining machine. A good effort to show what can Winamp3 skining machine does.

I love it - Its great and practical. the picture you have here is a litle diffrent from the final verson, but its still great If you plan to make an new verson, i have some ideas. 5/5 - I have always doubted that a compact winamp with static windows could be good. This proved me wrong :). First of all, it has the perfect size and each button is positioned perfectly. the AVS window is smoothly integrated and suddenly seems like something that should be there like a VU and not just a CPU killer. My fav! - This is my favourite skin because its all together in one component. Its small and doesn't get in my way, is not clunky, and has everything I look for in a skin when it comes to Winamp. PERFECT - The shade mode is *perfect*. Everything there, easy to read and use, together. I editted the normal mode to get rid of the equalizer and AVS, and let the playlist width resizeable, and then the normal mode was *perfect* too. - December 1, 2003 by sss sss

Awesome - The only thing keeping this from getting 5 stars (and this is nitpicking) is the lack of tool-tips for every button and the inflexibility of the visualization window. Stylish, user-friendly and resizable - This is fantastic! I love the clarity, the detail and that all options are available from the one window. Cool - Wow, this is the best W3 skin i've seen yet. The layout is awesome and the little shrinky button to make it small enough to be out of the way is useful too. I'd really like to see the equaliser able to be closed and the playlist to take up the space where the eq was... i dont use the eq, and i would sure find having a large playlist in there good. Sweet - I like the built in playlist and visualation. In the expanded mode, it's kind of bulky, but in the smaller mode, it's compact and easy to use. its sorta forcing - it forces you to use the visualazation'ism :) anyways, it forces you to have that and so because of that it jacks up CPU usage, and if your like me, i play games and winamp at the same time, and i need all my CPU usage, and winamp 3 in general takes a lot, but i can handle it because if its not a super tough skin its only 3% cpu usage adn this skin and the visualazation forces more cpu usage and that really sucks like this skin and the color options sorta suck too there are only a few and they are pretty shitty, i dont think this really shows what the new winamp 3 can do i think it just shows how much winamp 3 can be demoted also like that otehr skin i ran across haha it got a 5 and full and perfect by the winamp people and the users it got like 1 star because i think the admins at winamp did it accidentally because the one right above it got a full and the same review, so thats why i think thats why it got such a good rating and someone said in spanish that it is an isult to winamp, im not saying this is an insult, it just sucks and for the L33T language people, it sux0rz yessum - September 3, 2003 by Adam m

Woohooo!! - A new direction! Atlast! Its nice to see intiative shown, Not many skins offer something new, and this offers what i have been looking for... no loose playlists flying over my desktop.... one neat lil bundle (probably on usefull for users with dual monitors) Issues - as Micheal stated, the EQ isnt one of the most important features, and it would be excelent if the Video screen could be a Visualisation screen... Dangerous Bug with this Skin! - With this skin, I was able to manipulate the main window so that only certain parts were showing, then close certain parts directly with the rightclick-windows menu. After that, I switched to another skin (Minima), and only the playlist was showing, but the main window was hidden. The skin is nice by itself, but has a nasty bug when skin-switching... Everything worked fine, so I thought I'd play with this 'playlist-only' mode, and tried it on a few skins. But then I quit Winamp3, and the next time I started it, every time I tried to do anything (even change skins), it crashes in nasty ways. So I can't get it to go back to Compact, so I can't reverse the problem... - April 6, 2003 by shifty utilator

Good ++ - VERY NICE compact skin. Only downfalls are the lack of color themes. You have some but all they do is just add red or whatever..they do not change the skin really..like completely blue or black..so on and so on...also.
