1933 Philco
Featured Skin, July 31, 2003.Great for Old Time Radio Shows.
Philco probably did not have this in mind when they designed this cathedral radio in 1933. That was only 70 years ago.

I'm sure Philco did not, but I like it.Talk about Retro. Gather up your ancient songs, and remember the good old days with this skin. I'm of looking for Abbott and Costello's "Who's on First", have it in my MP3's somewhere. :)

Wow! - The Idea of a 1933 Philco (or a 1936 Zenith, for that matter) full of a bunch of hi-tech goodies is just perfect for us old phartz who want to be geeks when we grow down. - November 8, 2007 by Bill Burch
THE COOLEST RETRO - This one, the Zenith Stratosphere and the Wurlitzer are my favorites. I don't care if they're large, they all look perfect! - August 3, 2005 by Jill Katz
Very Nice Overall - There are a few problems here, mostly because functionality was sacrificed for realism. The buttons are hard to use, and the fonts are so small and faint they are difficult to see. Still, nice graphics overall, and it's fun for when you're playing old music. - April 16, 2005 by Thomas Bryner
Beautiful! - A little slow to load on my machine, but well worth it. And it goes with my case mod, an old Cavalier radio! `;-> - March 28, 2005 by Bob Ress
Keystroker - Not a bad idea at all, but bit to fiddly to get sizing right for my taste - November 27, 2003 by John Todd
Best one yet - My son (12yrs old) even liked this one... - October 23, 2003 by Dave Barney
Truth & Beauty! - Hey!it's my 1st time writing one of these things. Y'know, some of us are almost old enough to remember having one of those old radios around. This skin is fantastic! I can finally figure out some of the buttons are & what they're for. (I'm obviously both a new computer user- 6 months w/my emachines W2040, winXP, AMD Athlon 2000+, etc.- and a new wa3 user[I had to reinstall lately]) But anyway, the design is great, if anything, it might need a couple of U.S. flags or whatever, to tap into all that patriotic fervor we're supposed to be experiencing now. Bully pulpit. - October 22, 2003 by Jeff Picking
damn old - cant see the buttons very well either. - October 10, 2003 by jeff marchant
I absolutely adore it.... - You did such a fine job on this skin, I'm wondering if you can go to an Antique Auction with me sometime. You have put all the beauty and grace that the old pieces of furniture had back in the day, into your skin. Thank you so much. It is lovely and works excellent. I almost feel as if I need to get a can of Pledge to dust it. - October 7, 2003 by Ronda Keasler-Ford
