After copying the files into the winamp folder, it incorrectly tried to access the settings from another test install of winamp (indicating it pulls the installation directory from the registry which is poor).
It did do as advertised but the lack of proper config options (editing a text file is not ideal) and also it failed to work with restoring the playback of windows media files correctly.
Overall, a bit of a let down.
