Turns down the volume when the phone rings.

Turns down Winamp's or Windows' volume when the phone rings. Uses any modem assigned to a COM port. Additional options to pause or stop Winamp, and pop up message.

Only opens the modem port when Winamp is playing. So if you use your modem for other purposes, just pause or stop Winamp before you try to connect.

New in 1.1!: Display caller ID info in the popup window. Should support more modems, even USB modems. Other bug fixes.

Makes things easy when you are listening to music and answering phones. Good amount of customization available to set the volume levels, etc.

Works great - I was having problems at first till I tried a different modem. Now I can crank up the tunes and not worry about missing a phone call because I can't hear it. Highly recommended and worth finding a modem to work with this plug in. I believe the modem I was using was defective so I cannot say if it would have worked with it or not had it not been defective. I am now using a Conexant D850 56K V.9x DFVc with it. I am also using the Winamp Web Interface plug in with this plug in so I can start the tunes back up while on another computer. If only! - Looks like a good plug-in but it would be better if it could be used with a wider range of modems, mine is connected via USB so I can't use it. Hope somethin can be done about it in the future! - June 25, 2005 by x x

WoW! This is what I was looking for!!! - This is great! I can play my MP3's loud on my computer and when the phone rings it automatically decreases the volume so I don't have to run over!
