Very useful toolbar for WinampRuns on your Windows taskbar at the bottom of the screen... controls the base Winamp functions (play/next/prev/stop/etc.). Other options include buttons for opening files, playlist, track info (position slider), eq, main window. Overall, a solid and useful way use Winamp with less desktop clutter. Updated version includes a configuration utility... much easier to tweak now instead of having to edit a file.

Just xhat I needed - Great plugin, just do the job perfectly. Not fully compatible with Win7 though. - June 29, 2009 by john brown
Only one minor problem - Winamp (which i have been using for 3 or 2 years) is really cool. The only problem i have with it is the toolbar and i haven't found an answer about how to correct it yet.I accidentally added some buttons and i don't know how to remove them. I also want to remove some of the things that were already there but I dont know how to. - April 12, 2008 by Michael Okwali
Not bad! - Nice plug-in -- I especially like the small-but-not-too-small buttons (so I don't lose too much taskbar space) and the ability to hide buttons I don't want. The only things missing are skins and -- more importantly -- some way to launch Winamp and the configuration utility from the toolbar. - March 22, 2008 by Aaron of Minneapolis
Not bad - Only complaint - not skinnable. I'd like to be able to alter the buttons a little more to my liking - either to match my OS theme, or my Winamp theme. - November 24, 2007 by Sloppy C
Only with horizontal taskbars - To free up my desktop I use a narrow vertical taskbar on the left. This plug-in only works horizontally. It can't change it's orientation. In addition, the graphics are poor and the 'Winamp taskbar' label is really useless. - January 5, 2007 by Ioan Baba
Excellent! - precisely what i was looking for! i liked that i could remove the buttons i don't need. *bad points* can i get rid of "Winamp Toolbar" text? can i get rid of winamp's ordinary taskbar tab? thanks, i love it. - June 9, 2006 by martin ahmedzai
Good except for icon size - a great plugin but i run my taskbar at the lowest size possible and it wont show the buttons for it if anyone knows how to fix this contact me on [email protected] apart from this small flaw its great - April 27, 2006 by Hamish Stevens
Fine tool - But what the hell were these *.wma files??? "Big cheer", "crowd" etc. And does a plug-in where you can make the winamp minimize disappear exist? - March 20, 2005 by Martin Brum
Troubled - I cannot get the text "Winamp Toolbar" to hide ... very annoying, as it takes up a lot of room on the taskbar. - March 12, 2005 by ZanX LifteR
just to clarify... - ...folks wanting to ditch the "winamp toolbar" text who can't find "show title" to uncheck, you may have to unlock your taskbar. I second the wish that it could be configured via right clicking, but otherwise excellent; just what I wanted - December 13, 2004 by Matthew Magee
One complaint - Several people have complained they can\'t remove the \"Winamp Toolbar\" text. Sure you can!! Just right-click the text & uncheck \"Show Title\". My main complaint is that the toolbar can\'t be detached from the taskbar. Otherwise, this is a fairly useful plugin. - September 25, 2004 by Terry Korensek
Unusable due to UI glitches - Kudos to the author for using a toolbar instead of the system tray (I hate that thing!). But there are usability problems: - You have to find and run the configuration exe to change the options, instead of right-clicking on it. - In a vertical taskbar, the toolbar takes up a lot of room with blank space that you cant make smaller - When _Lock the Toolbar_ is selected (in a vertical taskbar), all the buttons in the toolbar disappear! - February 8, 2004 by C Thomas
TOO GOOD - omg I have been looking for a plug-in for winamp that would do the same thing as that little thing in WMP9...this is fantastic..everything i want right there on the taskbar...screw the skins..screw everything...buttons all work..what more do i ever need :D....top work mate...keep up the good work.... - October 20, 2003 by Amish Bhagat
*Wets Himself* - whoa, this is the plug in i've been dreaming about, I knew something like it must have existed but i've never found it as yet. It's better than the one in my dreams! Well Done Mr Kevin Lee, have one on me :) - July 21, 2003 by Rob I
thanks - Its such a great tool. I don't think I will ever open the winamp main window again after using this tool. just splendid. There is one option missing though. You can't detach the toolbar from the taskbar.?. - June 30, 2003 by Val Blaggey
unable to customize, otherwise great! - I am not able to customize the plugin, atleast as showin in the sample screenshot. Looks like, one can have only 4 active buttons in the taskbar at any give time. So, in order to add any new button, one will have to hide any existing button. Also, it would be great if the "Winamp Toolbar" text can be gotten rid of -- would same some additional valuable taskbar space. - June 11, 2003 by n k

fantastic - this is a brilliant toolbar, does everything you would need and is fully customisable, well recommended! - February 20, 2003 by Stephen Robinson
F*kin GRRRRRRRRR8!!!! - This thing works perfect, even works with my transparent, skinned taskbar!! I love it and it took me only one try to install and get working. Only thing I can suggest for improvement is to get rid of where it says "winamp toolbar" next to controls, that just takes up space. Other then that, I love it and want to marry it :D thank you Kevin - February 6, 2003 by Eric Jones
