Send Now Playing: Song to Yahoo!, AIM, MSN, Irc windows. Update AIM Profile with Now Playing: Song, Change Yahoo! Status to Now Playing: Song. Have Now Playing: Song on your website. And also have signatures for forums to show what you're playing.. You can change the way the song displays (format).. This works with Winamp 2.x & 5.x.. Please read the Read Me.txt when installed for help. Also when installed you can find the PHP files for displaying Now Playing: Song on your site in your C:\Path\To\Winamp\Plugins\PHP Files\

Where is it? - After downloading the plugin and installing the dll's i could not even find this plug in in winamp prefs, After going to the folder for plugins in program files winamp plugins ect. i found 2 files there... it stumps me as to why after closing and restarting winamp, that the plug in does not show still.Sorry but as good as the idea is for yahoo and msn. i have to give a 0 since it dont work... - September 11, 2007 by Aussie aa

So a plugin? - This one seems to perfectly plug right to my bottom. It does not work. The plugin does not even showup on properties panel. So beyond this perception I have sought up that all dll:s and ocx:s are where they should be. Really, I cannot say what is the matter whit this plugin. If anyone has a straight up way to make this plugin work on 5.x versions of winamp, please let the people know in nicely written ENGLISH. Thank you all in advantage. Since I have only seen the screenshot, the install software, the readme file and the files - BUT not the actual working plugin, after 30min of investigation. I must give a 1 out of 5 stars. msinet.ocx highly exploitable - trojan risk - As mentioned before, the file msinet.ocx is a highly exploitable trojan risk. It is not in your windows system directory for a reason. I would strongly recommend staying away from this one. More information on that here: http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-frenzy.html I'm not saying this plug in is a virus, but if you choose to add msinet.ocx to your system directory you are making it very vulnerable to one. - February 6, 2005 by Randall Black

More Help for Users - The previous user was right. You will need the MSINET.OCX file to use the program. But you will need to put it in C:\WINDOWS\system32 . If you put it in the winamp plugin folder it still will not work and did not until I put it the system32 folder. But you can go to his site to download the file or just google it to find the file. Some Help For Users - Even when downloading the .EXE version of Winamp Thingy, you will need MSINET.OCX installed IN your Winamp plugin folder. MSINET.OCX allows for information to be transmitted on the net by certain programs. I uploaded a zip file containing only MSINET.OCX to my personal server for those of you that need it (which should be a good portion of users) www.enteractivesites.com/winamp/msinet.zip Just go there and download it into your Winamp/plugins directory. You will need a windows zipping/unzipping program to open it. Good Idea, Not Followed Through - This plug-in has great potential. It offers the availability to those who wish to have their current playlist on their site. Great idea. Problem here is that it was released without 100% compatability. Perhaps it's a 5.x glitch, perhaps it is coder error. Either way, a coder MUST make sure that if he develops something, everything is working; otherwise, the product goes to the trashcan and no profit is made. I know that there is no profit to be made here, but the reputation to be gained is tremendous. I am saddened to give this only 1 star out of 5. I simply give it this due to coder incompentance and ignorance. Most users that will want this are pleased that you can just upload a file or two and voila! Problem is, the files are hard to get to, the plug-in doesn't necessarily work, and the php doesn't necessarily work either. I hope to one day see the developer come back and fix what errors he/she left in this and re-release it for strictly 5.x users. Catering to 2.x, 3.x and 5.x is nearly impossible. Figure that 90% of the people using winamp will be using 5.x. Write for 5.x, then write for 2.x and 3.x. Don't try and make it cross-compatible, you'll run into errors like this one. Instructions are there to INSTRUCT people as to how to get it working. The set left with this plug-in leave much to be desired. There is very little that this developer could have said to make things work. Their instructions are vague and very bland. They reference two versions of install, although I was only given the opportunity of one. Great idea, just not really thought through and followed to fruition. Does Not Work! - This does not work as advertised. The instructions are very poor. The developer does not make it clear how to use the product as the instruction are very poorly written. Sean -- - This is in response to what Sean Puffy said. If you don't want all those popups, your Homepage changed, etc., try firefox. go to www.getfirefox.com. Great but a script is runnin' - this program is great, i love it, 5 stars in this plug-in 0 in their website www.the-site.net ???why??? when you download an album [mp3] in their download section, their's so many popups then a f**kn' script run, then change your home page, and you can't change it back. Maybe I'm just one of the unlucky ones - The readme says: \"DLL version might now work for all winamp 3 & 5 users, some has had luck some aint\" I ain\'t. :( My .dlls are in the plugins folder like they should be, and the plugin shows up on the list, but clicking the \"configure plugin\" button will not bring up the configuration box.
