It works great on Winamp 5.552 - August 24, 2010 by leon187
I wish this worked... - Rather, I wish this didn't crash winamp when-ever I load it. Other than that... Just like the label says...To the frakin' idiots that want more functions - WHY? There are SOOOO many other plug-ins that would be great in conjunction with this one... Again, assuming it didn't break winamp.System - P4 2.8 Gig, XP Pro, WinAmp v5.35 Full.I can shoot you any of the diagnostic messages if that helps. - August 10, 2007 by Carl Forgey
Not that bad - Although it lacks in functionality it isnt as bad as some of its reviews. With EQ it is posible to create some interesting variations such as a nice wind-like sound, or just work ot how to use EQ. - June 21, 2005 by Easy Ben
* Hssssh! * - This is -interesting- but DUDE it needs to have CONFIGURATION, pitch, echo, ambience, knock yourself out (it didn't with me and that's the whole purpose of good white noise) One star cause it's a start of something useful. (to drown out my neighbors when I sleep at night) :) You got me curious now so I'm going to delve around to see what other White Noise generator software are out there .. hmm - It's a great idea (perfect for drowning out distracting sounds when you need to concentrate) and sounds good, but it crashes my WinAmp after about 2 seconds of playing... every time. Darnit. - February 11, 2003 by Iestyn Bleasdale-Shepherd
hmmm.... - i'm removing one start because theres no frequency generator and i'm starting to fall aspleep... :) - December 9, 2002 by Kyle Gerik
Hmmm - It sounds nice... kind of like (normaas) brainwave generator, without the frequencies...hmmm don't know if I have any use for it :) - November 26, 2002 by pascal simons
Why not "Black Noise"? - Let me just say, white noise is just overrated. It's been done by so many different people that it just doesn't have the same effect anymore. Please try something different. - August 18, 2002 by Patrick Farling
! - What is the utility of this plug-in?????, You can generate tone and noise in CoolEdit 2000 but it's doesn't matter... I just want to know what is the utility of this plugin! - June 28, 2002 by Mat128 M.
Very, very... - ... hissssssss-sssssssssssssssssssss-ssssssssssssssssssssssssss-sssssssssssssssssssssssing... - January 21, 2002 by Valery Sokolov
Could you create a frequency generator??... - Dear Sir could you create a frequency generator plugin wich can be start in following way: open the "play location" window in winamp and type this: freqgen:// -the plugin starts freqgen://freq=50,sin/cos/tan -the plugin starts with 50Hz sin,cos or tan frequency form. - January 3, 2002 by Borg Number_One
View - It is good, I was looking for this for some times. Good for adjusting EQs. But the interface is crude. just don't how to use at the beginning. And really, some more documention pleas. - October 16, 2001 by Charley Fan
Just what I wanted - Well... almost. But for what it is, it's good. Of course, it takes a whole Winamp process for itself, so you can't play that AND music, without running two instances. But, that's okay. It does a damned good job, with headphones, of blocking out noise. - August 30, 2001 by Patrick Bogen
Useful - This plug-in streams uniform white noise into winamp's audio system. The sound is similar to the sound of falling rain and can be quite soothing. Playing white noise can mask other sounds to improve concentration in a dorm or office environment. It can also be used as a sleeping aide to cover up annoying disturbances. Additionally using winamp's built-in equalizer the different frequencies can be adjusted to suit the users taste. For example, pink noise with greater low frequency content can be generated by reducing the gain in the higher frequencies. - August 2, 2001 by Christopher Weed
Could have more docs. - It does what it says. But it doesn't have any documentation attached, and seens just have the option of a Uniform White Noise. Good for people who wanna to use their computers and don't get annoyed with other noises, like programmers. Just wear earphones and start the plugin in a medium volume. - June 9, 2001 by AyloNs Hazzud
