The GMans Power Hour Plugin
Plays 60 seconds of 60 songs in your playlist to create a very entertaining drinking game.
Plays 60 seconds of 60 songs in your playlist to create a very entertaining drinking game.Automatically creates a Power Hour for you from the songs in your playlist. If you don?t know, a Power Hour is a simple & fun drinking game. Each player takes a shot of beer every time a new song starts to play. A new song should start to play every 60 seconds (so that's 60 shots in one Power Hour). You have the option of letting the plugin begin each song at the beginning, at a specific time in the song, or at a random position within a range you specify. Also, the plugin keeps track of the time the Power Hour was started, how many songs are left, how many songs have been completed, and the amount of time left in the current song. You can also control the plugin from the system tray.

mmm drinkYou have to go the preferences first to enable this but once on it is very easy to configure and get working. The choice of options is nice and it seems pretty flexible to tailor it to different needs.

Yes! A free Power Hour plugin! - Looks like a very nice program. Best of all, it is free. All of the other programs I have found on the net cost money.I only have a few things I would love to see as improvements. I would love the ability to change the length of it to 100 so that it could also be used for a Century Club. A graphical interface might be nice too. Also, it would be nice if it were easier to enable it, without having to go through the Plugins in Preferences. But, overall it looks like a very nice, useful little plugin. - August 27, 2007 by Mike Winston
awesome - I've been trying to make a power hour, and find programs to make one for about a month now. All the processes i tried didn't work in the end. This plug in is sweet. I love it. - October 22, 2006 by jason rine
Alone in its class. - I looked around on google for a few minutes and this was the only windows power hour program/plugin/anything that I could find (I did fine one for Mac, which does not help me). The plugin appears to cover all aspects of the game well, which stems from the fact that the game is very simple: drink every minute when the music changes. This plugin would be exceptional if it supported the burning of power hour CDs, since not everyone has a computer with great speakers near the party. - February 2, 2006 by matt dougherty
