System Hotkeys for WinampVery useful plug-in to configure hotkeys for Winamp. Fairly extensive control options here... hotkey to your heart's content. -dg

Poor plug-in - It scrambles the hotkeys on me ('pause' would mysteriously become 'previous,' etc), you can't adjust the window size by pulling on the perimeters (and the default size is inconveniently small), and if you move the windows around so you can see what you're doing, and happen to put the "assign hotkey" window beneath winamp's "preferences" window, the preference window stays on top, but you can't click it because the "assign hotkey" window has priority. You're left only with visable windows you have no access to. Admittedly, the latter two issues are small and petty, which would have been negligible if the first issue wasn't so annoying and prominent. - January 9, 2009 by Bryan Canaanabolaanan
Haven't read what one reviewer said before... - I will correct my last review with the words from David who reviewed this plug-in before:
by David Morgan on May. 17, 2002 Ryan Parlee's System hotkeys does everything this plugin does much more simply and with only 36KB instead of 525KB..... Try it first.....
- October 1, 2004 by Markus Reidt
Great to handle - YOU really need this... - ...if you want to remote control your winamp. Easy to configure, even a hotkey for showing the current title information is included. You can change everything! - August 31, 2004 by Markus Reidt
Which System Hotkeys? - Ryan Parlee's System hotkeys does everything this plugin does much more simply and with only 36KB instead of 525KB..... Try it first..... - May 17, 2002 by David Morgan
Jump to file? - I agree with Boris...I need my jump to file window! Winamp Slider! will do this, but has a lot of other functions that are annoying. - May 12, 2002 by Mike B
Awesome - Great! - April 25, 2002 by Oziel Garza
On-screen display - It's great...but if I flick through songs quickly using the hotkeys, the display stays stuck on the first track. - February 5, 2002 by Thomas White
Flextouch, but free! - This is just what flextouch is, but it's free, and it's not a program, it's a plugin. I wub it. *wub wub wub* This thing ownz, there's nothing like playing a game, and when you need it to be quiet, shift+alt+s, it's quiet. When dad walks into the room with something to say, no messing around with the mouse, just *BLIP* and it's quiet, same for next track, or previous. So many good options in this, and it's simple too. Can't go wrong with this one. - January 23, 2002 by Felix Sargent
Wow. - I've been looking for a plugin like this for a long time! Very customizable, easy to understand... And it works great in conjunction with the windowshade docker! - January 13, 2002 by Sankata Makotono
Maybe the best... - I'm sure this one is one of the best Hotkey Plugins I've seen before. Boris is right... the JUMP function is missing... !!! Ride on! - December 11, 2001 by Guolin Chau
The most important action is missing! - This plugin is really the best of the hotkey plugins. It's the most flexible and functional one. But the most important action (at least for me) is missing: It's NOT possible to bind a hotkey to the the JUMP-Dialog with its wunderful search function. So it is not possible to change the actual song only via the keyboard. ### Please Joackim, update your plugin with this function, it should be an easy thing!!! ### - July 3, 2001 by Boris Lau
Good, Good Stuff - Took me a long time scrolling through these danged plugins, but this was what I was looking for. Works great! That is all. SAN DIEMAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL RULES!!!! - June 22, 2001 by Vlad Choc
