Why BUY a strobe light, when you can use your monitor?

Okay I finally was able to get a compilable version of VB again, and have since worked out the bugs people were complaining about. The plugin should now install correctly and work fine.

Neat little plug-in/app that turns your monitor into a strobelight. If you want people at the party to concentrate on dancing and not staring intently at intricate visuals...this is for you. Very basic....your screen flashes. You can choose color too....although, I came across a couple colors that didn't really strobe too well...instead of the whole screen flashing...only a band of color strobed. -dg

Epilepsy - This is an extremely dangerous plug-in. Many (but not all) people know that flashing lights of any kind can induce epileptic seizures, even in those who have no previous history of seizures or epilepsy. The last thing anyone needs is a rapidly blinking monitor, which not only give you one hell of a headache after a while (or in my case, about two seconds), but can also result in physical injury, long-term or permanent brain damage, or in more serious cases, death. So, if you really want a strobelight, I'd advise y'all to buy one, rather than download this plug-in. You and your brain might survive a little longer. - July 26, 2002 by Chris Maine
