skincycle plugin

the 1st and only plugin to work with skins. the skincycle plugin is integrated with the skincycle.com winamp skin site to automatically download skins to your player. if you dont have an internet connection, it will let you configure how often your locally stored skins are rotated.

For those of you who want the process of cyclying skins automated...then this plug-in is what you are looking for. You can customize the cycle time interval so that Winamp tries a new skin on every minute...every 5 minutes....every hour, etc. Definitely gives you a refreshing feel when you go to cue up a song and you see a different skin. Just make sure that your skin directory has only your favorites in it. Another nice feature of this plug-in allows you to update and cycle your skin collection by downloading new skins from skincycle.com. Very nice touch to a cool plug-in. -dg

How can I make it work? - Well.... the plug-in really looked good, but I speak spanish and (obvuisly) all my computer is in spanish. The application didn't work because it said that the aplication was in "...program files/winamp/..." if you don't have winamp in there, ?How can you make it work? Only Works In Winamp\Skin Folder - Its okay (for one folder only) otherwise, it will just keep the basic skin. I reccomend not to download it if you have a folder of specific skins, such as me. I have a folder full of Tenchi Muyo skins. - August 10, 2001 by Fareed Ahmed

it's working again - it's working again, sorry that it was down for so long. here's the scoop: did 40 gigs of transfer in march, so my web host wanted to ream me for $$$. so i set it up on my own server, and then the ISP i was using went out of business. just moved into a new apartment with T1, so it is working again. i'm working on getting all my other crap back up and running too - July 14, 2001 by casey chesnut
