Stereo field extending DSP plug-in Winamp

Stereo field extending DSP plug-in Winamp

NEW EXTENDED TRIAL VERSION.The Jamma plug-in is a dynamic piece of software that processes standard digital audio (your MP3 and WAV files) and converts it into an enhanced stereo output. This isn't simply a pump up the volume ad-on. Sensaura Jamma actually brings realism to your listening experience. When listening on loudspeakers, the stereo-field extends beyond the separation of the speakers, whilst with headphones, the sound image is actually taken "out of the head", You won't even realise that you are wearing them.Sensaura Jamma features:Listening options Configure your preferences for either headphone or three different speaker listening options (desktop, notebook or monitor).Width Alters the extent of the stereo image to suit your hardware and listening preference.Focus - A more subtle adjustment method catering for different types of recording techniques from different era's e.g. 60's 70's etc.BassFX - Enhances lower frequencies. This works best in conjuction with the EQ settings in the WinAmp Equalizer. JammaFX - Allows even further stereo seperation. Use this in conjuction with the width and focus buttons to fine-tune to your preferences.Like all stereo enhancement technologies Sensaura Jamma will not work with mono recordings. Greater differences will be evident on audio tracks recorded at higher kbps rates.Check http://www.sensaura.com/jamma for more details.

Sensaura JAMMA - Stereo field extending DSP plug-in Winamp

Staff review

Stereo ehancement effect

Nicely designed dsp plug-in that allows for an enhanced stereo effect. The interface is easy to use and looks sleak. The configuration options allow you to choose between headphones and different types of speakers, as well as some efx. This is a trial version. -dg

installed and disappeared - installs, loads via preferences, the goofy ear shows up and disappears when you mouse the controls. Website for help won't load. Waste of time - August 15, 2009 by Alan Dumoff

Decent, but not worth the money - Ah, this is an ok plugin, it sounds ok, but for headphones or loudspeakers, there are plenty of free alternative that are everybit as good, and did I mention...free? Anyway, not a bad plugin, but hardly worth the amount they ask for... - December 19, 2004 by taylor lawson

best plugin i ever had for winamp - this is the dream plugin for winamp with superb sound quality... - July 2, 2003 by Sweet-O Dude

This is /very/ hard to use - This plugin is the hardest plugin to figure out that I've ever seen. Basically, there are two extra effects. JammaFX and BassFX, in addition to the main effect, which does not require either. The headphone effect is one of the best I've heard. I haven't tried the speaker effect. It's very hard to cut through the crap on this one. - May 24, 2003 by arif husain

Nothing - Get a life Jared.....why you lickin' sensaura's ass i just fig'd out you learnt programming and now my guess is you think sensaura's gonna give you a billion dollar reward. and dsp's arent here for us to strip'em and analyze the code, butthead, they're here to enhance sound...not to create whizzkidz.."like you" happy??? stupid kid...will repeat it...GET A LIFE "programmer".... - September 18, 2002 by loren cannon

sane - Just posting this to get rid of the foul mouthed morons who have posted before. If it crashes your Winamp, then perhaps you have something else running ON IT that is incompatible. Rather than whine about your own incompetence, take a course in programming and figure it out, or say please. Perhaps someone will fix it for you. - February 2, 2002 by Gene Garcia

a$$ holes - This sh!t kicking program keeps crashing my winamp and a ten minunet test run that su*ks also. You Sh!t Kicking Mother F***r Horse Ma Horse son of a b****h had best unf**k yourself sh!t for brains before I rip off your head and sh!t down your neck!! a$$ holes - December 4, 2001 by Jared Widman

nice idea....shame about the expiration - Would have liked to say something about this plug in but it had expired........strange way to demo something really - November 7, 2001 by lord_of_ring_007 .

Very little - This honestly does very little. The "BassFX" simply increases the low end (and ends up muffling the sound), and the "JammaFX" does very little to widen the stereo. Going between bypass and full widening, I can hear little or no difference. You can try it, but I certainly wouldn't use it. - October 27, 2001 by Nick Andrews

Eureka! - This is actually quite a cool thing. A quick not though, don't bother using it if your music is not recorded in stereo... it doesn't work. Actually, if your music isn't stereo you may aswell go back to the jurasic period! - August 20, 2001 by Matt Long

The best so far! - This updated version kix ass the best DSP plugin i've had so far! I might even buy the full version! but hey I need some skins! cool interface. - July 11, 2001 by Kenny Jones

Four Skins. No, Four Stars. - Well, looses a star for no skins but otherwise... far out sounds - and I mean far out. And the different speaker settings work. I used to work for a speaker company so I got a den full and tried them out. Cool. Cool. Cool. and then some. - July 11, 2001 by Glue Ball

It works... but... - Yeah, it looks cool, it makes your mp3s sound different, but as far as I'm concerned its nothing that DFX or the equalizer can't do already... - July 6, 2001 by sirbubba thegreat
