This plugin gets the current playing song and displays it as status in your Yahoo Messenger application along with the current time.

Features:
-> Automatically change Yahoo! Messenger status based on currently playing song in Winamp

Works Well YM 8.1 - Appears to function as stated in my Yahoo Messenger 8.1. My initial reaction is that I like it. Nice basic compact plug-in.Positives: 1. Includes Band name, song, time of day, and Day as a busy status message in YM.2. Changes as songs advances3. Small: 236KB dll file.4. Easy install: Just place the in the downloaded zipped file to your Winamp/Plugins's directory. Fire up Winamp. Start YM and PinkCrow Winamp status shown.Negatives: 1. Not Bad, At Least It Works - Finally, a WinAmp plugin for Yahoo Messenger that actually works for Yahoo 8.1. It properly shows my currently playing song on both my end and on the end of friends on my YM list. The only reason I do not rate it higher is the lack of customization (which the author says is coming, but that was over a year ago). It also has the very useless addition of the time and day of week tacked on to the end of the song. Not sure why they felt that was important to put in at all and I wish I could get it out. PinkCrowYahooStatusChanger - Great Yahoo Status display add-on unfortunantly if you want to stay invisible and STILL be able to use your winamp you can\'t. If the Author can update with an On/Off Option, it would make it better. :) - October 25, 2006 by JR Z
