Now Playing Screen Saver

Shows what's currently playing and optionally the next and previous songs.

This standalone screen saver shows the song currently playing in Winamp 2 and optionally the previous and next songs. I use it for DJing, so people can see what's playing without being able to mess around with my computer.
Tested with Win2k and WinXP, but will probably work with other versions as well.

Staff review

Fairly straightforward standalone screen saver that displays the current track info from Winamp. You can configure font face and color, line spacing, and how many tracks in the playlist to be displayed at once. It's definitely useful, but, it would be even nicer if it were mixed with a nice visual pattern to replace the black background.

Simple but limited... - I like this screen saver, only one thing that gets me, it doesnt blank both of my monitors only the primary monitor. Would also be nice to have the option of stopping the text moving around. - April 17, 2004 by Matt W
