Locates items from your playlist in the media library.

Find items in your Media Library from the playlist. From the right click
menu for a song in your playlist, choose 'Find in Media Library' then the
type of search you wish to do.

You can find items of the same song title (determined by your title settings
in Winamp), artist, album or the exact file.

It will show the media library and define the search terms based on the
selected song.

Staff review

Simply right click in the Playlist Editor window and you can search for media by artist, song, album, etc.

quite helpful - .. but I don't get I working.I start with a playlist in the following format:Rank(999)- Artist - Title (only as text, no tags)Now by right clicking and selecting Find Song WA answers ? Artist="" AND Title="". That is not what I was expecting.The title format is standard = [%artist% - ]$if2(%title%,$filepart(%filename%)).So what am I to do to get the result shown in the - November 2, 2007 by Christian Gehrs

Potentially quite useful. The problem is .. - This potentially quite useful plug-in could be made much more useful by inserting code to ensure that the Media Library is called up in the "Local Media" folder. As it is, the media library opens exposing the most recently used folder (or, perhaps, "Now playing"). In such cases the search will fail to be displayed. The work around that I have been using is to open ML, select "Local Media" then to call up the plug-in: Very Inelegant! So, thanks for your good work, but could you issue a fix?
