Automatically search for and display lyrics in Winamp, along with a visualization.



Includes a lyrics editor, support for mouse gestures and Winamp skins.



Supports .txt, .lrc, Lyrics3v1, Lyrics3v2 and ID3v2.

Searches the internet automatically for lyrics files and displays them in a window along with some visual effects. The visuals themeselves are somewhat basic...but, the lyrics searching is convenient. You can add your favorite internet lyrics databases to the search list and even move them up and down in terms of priority.

Synchronized lyrics - Runs in a separate window.Finds lyrics to some songs.Mostly, you find the lyrics on the web and paste them in the edit window. Saves lyrics in a specified directory as .txt or .lrc files. Nice smooth synchronization. - November 7, 2007 by bob wolfe

Excellent - This plug-in just rules! It automatically searches the web for the lyrics of the song you play. And if available, shows them in kind of karaoke style. Moreover, it is so elegant and the font is great. - March 31, 2006 by Frederic Solbes

Seems like it would be nice - it seems like a very usefull and nicely layed out addon of its kind but just like every other lyrics one you have to manually imput the lyrics for it to find any lyrics because A. its main lyrics engine has changed since this was coded and B. all the others so far haven't found any korn songs placebo songs type o negative songs judas priest songs beborn beton, benny benassi, it didn't even find any white zombie songs and the list goes on and on of all these bands i've got through every song by(i have too many discographies) and not a single lyric found yet still have about 10 more discographies to go through mind you as i said every internet lyrics addon has the same problem - November 30, 2005 by Dade Murphy

Good, but with a flaw - This seems to work and it finds most lyrics by the time the first verse is done. Here's the flaw: It adds noise to the music while it is running. It sounds like a popping. Since the primary reason for using Winamp is to listen to music, this neuters it a bit. - January 12, 2005 by Luke Comstock

What? Are Thinking - This program is a great idea and when it actually works it is cool. I tried over 100 popular songs ranging from top 40 to classic rock and it only found a handful. Great but not finished yet - I think it's a great idea... but I have some complains: 1) the search-edit tab is quite irritating when trying to full-size the plugin on second screen 2) you can't choose the font I would even more like it when the text would appear on my desktop instead of a window (I've seen plugins that could change the desktop in a visualisation, so why not do that?) Good idea but useless - Thought this would be really good. . unfortunately it takes half the song to look up the lyrics, returns mucked up lyrics in norwegian and silly languages. . .doesnt select the lyrics that are playing, you have to scroll them yourself + the window moves between EVERY song. . . - October 14, 2004 by nick johnston
