LCD for WinampAllows for display of spectrum analyzers, oscillioscopes, and VU Meters on LCD displays. I didn't have one handy to test it out, but it installed ok. If anyone has any problems with it, please email [email protected]. -dg

Drivers - Does anyone know where I can download the drivers? The link to the site doesn't work and that's the only place that anywhere links to. - February 25, 2005 by John Kemp
no aparece - cuando intalas este plug-in y luego ejecutas winamp , no aparece el plugin por ningun lado. Ni en generalplugins ni en visualisation plugins. - December 11, 2001 by alvaro alexis
Awesome!!! - So one day I said to my buddy, "wouldn't it be cool if I could hook up an LCD screen to display the song just like the in my car?" So on a whim I typed in "LCD" in the plugin search box and this plugin came up. In a half-hour I had downloaded the plugin, went to his website to find an appropriate LCD, found the LCD screen online, and bought the LCD display. Once I received the LCD display I had it working in 10 minutes. Amazing. Now I don't have to KVM on over to my other computer to see what song is playing. - November 1, 2001 by Matthew Heimbach
Read the docs - This is a quality plug-in. In fact it is the only one of its kind that I have ever seen. I had problems getting it to work at first, but most of them were caused by poor wiring. You NEED to read the docs for the plug-in and the display. Most HD44780's need a negative voltage to control contrast and you need to edit the config file to suit your display. It looks great when working, and is well worth the effort. Don't bash the plug-in because you can't follow directions :) -- Support for smaller and odd sized displays would be nice. -- - July 30, 2001 by Scott Hanson

How about an update..... - People still waiting on 1.2beta to use direct connections. I guess we will never see it. webXuser - June 20, 2001 by webXuser webXuser
GRRRRRRREAT - Justus must be an idiot, this plugin worked perfectly. I now have the LCD on top of my monitor displaying the song's title and the graphs. - June 11, 2001 by Ja Sam
The best LCD plugin - Worked perfectly the first time I tried it, even on Win2K. You have to read the instructions and see http://lcdriver.pointofnoreturn.org. The only decent graphical LCD Winamp plugin. - May 8, 2001 by Jon Suen
Got it to work, sorta - I finally got it work, but had to use an older version of winamp (2.61 i believe) and even then it didn't show the song's title. - May 7, 2001 by Johnathan Byerly
