Customizeable MSN "What I'm listenig to" plugin

Another MSN plugin for Winamp. Tested with Winamp 5.24 and Windows Live Messenger.

The displayed text can be customized, it can contain the following fields: title, artist, album, genre, year, filename, and playback status.
You can also enter custom text which will remain as is. For example, if you are playing the song X performed by Y from the album Z in 1987, you can set the plugin to show this: "I'm listening to X from Y (Z, 1987)" with the setting text of "I'm listening to TITLE from ARTIST (ALBUM, YEAR)". It's that simple.

This appeared to work as expected and the ability to custom what is shown is a plus over other free plugins which do the now playing spamming. Is worth a try if you need this feature.

good! but - i like this plugin, simple but very usefull, but in the next version of this plugin, maybe you could have things not to be shown when there's nothing in de ID3 tag, like albums or such. do you know what i mean? keep up the good work :-D - December 11, 2007 by Arno Declercq

good plugin that needs unicode - this is a great plugin that totally does what it says and i really appreciate the customizability.Only feature i miss in every plugin of that kind is support for unicode for displaying japanese or korean titles.i'd appreciate if you could add this for a new version.so long peace! - July 29, 2007 by Fabian Voswinkel

Amazing. - This blows the WMP plug-in out of the water. I love the way you can add text around the information and change the order. e.g. 'SONG' by 'ARTIST' from the album 'ALBUM (YEAR)'It's the only plug-in I have that actually works. - June 25, 2007 by Stuart Wood

Excellent! - It's a very briliant player, and i'm using it all the time. I've even had friend who've asked, "How do you add that text when you at the same time can show what music you play?"The only thing that I was a little dissapointed at is that it dosn't work with the SHOUTcast radio, which i use even more than my normal mp3 files. Good - Good Points:- Don't trunk the title of song how sucess whit others plugins.- Don't crash your winamp and don't need another files system add.Bad Points:- The same problem of all plugins, doesn't work with Radio, shows the stream address.- Can't configure for alternative tags, for example when TAG information doesn't exist, then shows the filename, impossible configure this option, this case shows "-" - May 22, 2007 by Juan Carlos

Great solid plugin - I've been looking for the perfect plugin to work with MSN's Now Playing that won't crash Winamp, and this is it. My only problem with it is that it doesn't seem to support UTF, which my music tends to need a lot ;) If this had UTF support, it would get a 5 from me. - February 16, 2007 by Alex D
