Changes pitch and tempo independently

Ok, this plugin lets you change the pitch/tempo *independently* of each other. In case like me you prefer .zip over pimp, you can get the latest version as a 14kb .zip file from my site.Oh, and this plugin also contains another module which provides "some remotely usable" Reverbed Echo/Chorus, first published on 10 Jan,2000.

Nice DSP plugin that allows you to change the pitch and tempo of an audio file. Fairly straightforward and easy to use. There is also reverb and chorus, but, you have to use those effects seperately of the tempo/pitch. The ability to save and load presets would be a nice addition.

Works well, but sound is fair - It works well for wave, MP3, MP4, and FLAC files. Other formats were not tested. The sound is not as good as either Pacemaker, or Chronotron, but it does not crash when switching tracks. The sound is only fair, because the volume pumps up and down as if the tremulo had been turned up high. It does not exhibit roughness in sound. If the tempo is changed by more than 20%, the pitch is also changed in tandem. - September 29, 2007 by John Clement

Worked well! - This was my favorite among the tools I tried for adjusting pitch. It not only had good sound but it also had a wider range in the pitch adjustment than others I tried. The interface is bare bones, which is just the way I like it. - August 29, 2006 by Dave S

Watch out! - I tested this out and anytime it played an mp3 thru this plug-in, it would stop the mp3 about 1/2 sec b4 it was finished and when you played the next one, it would 1st play the part it left off the previous file before playing the new one and then stop short yet again! - February 24, 2006 by Doc Thirstee

This is pretty cool! - I've tried many Pitch change plugins and this one seems to work best for me. I've yet to find one that changes the pitch almost instantly, but this will do for now. Thanks Arnab Bose. - December 30, 2004 by huia smith

???? - Fourier? Why Fourier? Fourier didn't know about these aspects when he invented the frequency domain. Anyway, cool plug-in but a little noise and a weird change of sound is significant even without changing the tempo or pitch. Should be better. - April 13, 2003 by GuClU BaCaK
