Pause your Winamp when the screensaver kicks in or your PC locks

Advanced Auto Pause is a that makes sure your music playback pauses when you lock your computer to go get more coffee. Advanced Auto Pause can also pause music playback when your screen saver kicks in. And the music of course starts playing again when you unlock your computer or the screen saver stops. As an extra feature Advanced Auto Pause also supports pausing of music playback when your computer goes into standby. There is nothing more irritating than resuming your computer and the music start to pounder from the night before, and you have to find WinAmp before being able to stop the music or turn down the volume.

Staff review

Installed quickly (though it put an update program in ML-ConsultingAutoUpdate without an uninstaller to remove it) and was working from the start. It correctly paused and resumed playback and worked with the screensaver option as well. Only issue was that it doesn't follow Winamp's mutli-user config options for where to save settings to, otherwise is a decent plugin.

Nice idea, but... - The idea for this plug-in, but it lack functionalty. I personaly needed Winamp to pause when I start a Fullscreen program (movie, games etc.) It would be nice if there were option to paue Winamp when specific programs are runing. - October 29, 2007 by Nedialko Vasilev
